For those who are following the New 52, I’m curious. Everywhere I ask this question, the titles trend differently, leading credence to the theory that different social media attract differently-opinioned readers.

So my question for Tumblr is, which five of the 52 are your favorites so far?

No worries if you like my books or don’t, doesn’t matter, just curious about the five books that made you the most excited for the next issue.

 The first book that really grabbed my attention was Animal Man. I’ve been a fan of the character ever since reading 52, so I was really looking forward to this title. I’m still not sure what to think of the art, it works perfectly when the comic gets creepy, but for the rest of the stuff…I dunno, it doesn’t look so good to me. The story that’s been set up so far is so awesome that it doesn’t matter though! If it hadn’t been for all the other new comics my husband and I picked up I think I would have gone nuts waiting for the second issue.

Batwoman was pretty awesome too. I love the supernatural aspect and I think that giving her more of those types of villains is a good way to set her apart from all the other bat-titles. And that art! Its like an orgy for my eyeballs!

Demon Knights really surprised me. While I did like Cornell’s run on Action Comics, I’ve never really been all that interested in Etrigan so I didn’t pick this one up. Luckily, my brother inlaw did. I really hope he keeps getting it to.

Batman left me feeling a bit nostolgic. The general tone of the issue felt like it had a similar feeling to Batman: TAS. Thank you comic shop guy for convincing us to buy this!

Wonder Woman might be my favorite of all though. The story so far is really interesting and the art is beautiful! I’m really hoping Hermes sticks around for more of the comic because his design was just awesome. I’ve totally been spazzing about this comic ever since I finished reading it.
