nowtoo on instagram

that is some serious skill right there

the barrista at the coffee shop I go to used to make hearts out of the foam on my lattes and that made my day every time (WHERE DID YOU GO CUTE BARRISTA RETURN TO MEE)

but can you imagine someone handing this to you

I think I’d die right there

how

and I’d be super afraid to drink this ngl

They use a variety of edible colorings. I’m pretty sure the ingredients are listed on each instagram post. Though I’m not entirely sure, because everything’s in Japanese.

Oh, no, I’m not afraid of it being inedible! I’m afraid because it’s SO FUCKING GORGEOUS I’d feel like I was destroying a work of art. Some things are just too pretty to eat!

Yeah, in the artist’s youtube video they say that they use strawberry syrup for the pink coloring on Card Captor Sakura.  So probably all the other colors are also edible.

I also learned that it took them over 15 min to draw the Sakura latte art so I don’t think these are meant for drinking haha - unless you really like luke warm coffee?

Ps. I personally would love to devour these.  I’d feel like I’m ABSORBING THEIR POWERS MUHAHAHA.

the legend

This makes me so happy, and yet so sad.

He was smart, he was a writer (you could tell by his phrasing) and this is something he TRULY cares about. That boy has a heart and he cares. He sees the truth for what it is and he refuses to sit idly and watch as the youth of america just stumbles by.

BUT the teacher was done. She didn’t care. She was fed up.

BUT the students were uncaring, even laughing, as this young man walked out

BUT this video was put online to be deemed as a joke and embarrass that boy.

THAT is unexceptionable

THAT is not right.

If you are this young gentleman  if you are his relative, or if you have ever done something similar.

I am so proud of you

To take your opinion and share. NOT ONCE did he threaten her, NOT ONCE did he raise his voice above a proper projection so that the class could hear his words  NOT ONCE did he insult her in any means past how she was behaving with her job. He didn’t undermine her. He didn’t hurt her, and yet he gave his message and left in peace.

That makes him a true, undeniable, super hero in my eyes.

Thank you sir.

For the last three decades many Americans have puzzled over a system that gives an R to a movie in which a women is carved up by a chainsaw and an NC-17 to one that shows a woman sexually pleasured. From such ratings one might conclude that sexual violence against women is OK for American teenagers to see, but that they must be 18 to see consensual sex. What message does this send to the kids the MPAA presumably means to protect?

Carrie Rickey

(via fireworkselectricbright)

“You have to question a cinematic culture which preaches artistic expression, and yet would support a decision that is clearly a product of a patriarchy-dominant society, which tries to control how women are depicted on screen. The MPAA is okay supporting scenes that portray women in scenarios of sexual torture and violence for entertainment purposes, but they are trying to force us to look away from a scene that shows a woman in a sexual scenario which is both complicit and complex. It’s misogynistic in nature to try and control a woman’s sexual presentation of self. I consider this an issue that is bigger than this film.”
